The purpose of the Poker Resource Center is to help the beginning to average poker player be more successful, and Win!
As a long time player, creating the Poker Resource Center is something I've wanted to do for a long time.
I have been playing poker for well over 20 years, and I have been a consistent winner. Back in the old days we used to play a lot of Five Card Draw, and a lot of Seven Card Stud. But then came the Internet, and TV, and now of course Texas Hold'em is all the rage. It's now the most popular game and I believe it is a better game for the masses. So Texas Hold'em will be the focus of this site.
Often less successful players ask me questions about the game, and how they can improve their game. I always wish that I could give them more than one or two point on how to improve.
Sometimes one or two tips is enough to turn losing into winning, but there is usually more to it than that.
The truth is that to improve your game significantly, it will take a bit of time to read and study the game, a little bit of effort to understand the game better, and often a little bit more concentration while playing. But that's it. You will improve your game if you want to.
If you love to play the game like I do, well it's just a lot more fun when you're winning! So this site is designed to help you win, and win consistently.
This site is growing, as I am adding something to it almost daily. So I would appreciate your feedback on how you like the site, what else you'd like to see added to the site, or any questions you might have. I really want to make this a helpful place for those who love the game of poker. So if you have any feedback please email me.
