Summery – This is one of the few sites I know of that allows deposits by credit card, which is definitely nice. Being a very
new site there are not really enough players to keep things hopping at all times. There are not very many tables of ring games
compared to Full Tilt or PokerStars, and the tournaments rarely draw more than 500 players. Even so this is a good place to
check out both as a change of pace, and as a chance to beat up on weaker players. Play here tends to be very loose, so tight
and solid play can win big. I Don’t really recommend it for beginners though since they could lose their shirt on the wild play.
Competition
– Level of play is definitely lower than at the pure poker sites. This is probably due to the fact that at a casino/poker site
crossover players from other forms off gambling may not be dedicated poker players and so are generally weaker. You often find
rather weak play at high levels. They don’t currently have ring games that start below $.10/.20, but I would image they will
add some lower blind games sometime soon.
Software – Works fine, looks hokie. A feature I do like is the hand history,
which actually shows the cards rather than making you have to wade through text lines to review a hand. Also, a meter that shows your
bonus progress or player stats is built into each ring game window. Stats nuts (like me!) might also appreciate the hand history files
that can be automatically saved from the software to your computer. The graphics won't blow you away, but they aren't very cluttered
and bloated either.
Promotions – They do have a lot of promotions since they are trying to attract players. They have promotions for winning seats at top tournaments. With the level of play, and how few players there are, this might
be the best place to win a seat at a big tournament. Players earn Gold Chips and Gold Cards by playing in ring games. Gold Chips
can be used to buy into private freerolls or other special promotions. By eventually making poker hands out of the Gold Cards you
can earn different sums of cash.
Bonuses - They always have good first time deposit bonuses, usually to higher limits than
anywhere else. Right now while I’m writing this they are doing 100% bonus up to $1000.
